I started with Lincoln Property Company as a porter while still in school. It was my first job out of college. I planned to stay 30 days and have been with LPC for over 35 years. The easy reply for why I stayed was because of the people and it was fun. And that is true. But the deeper reasons were that it was mentally challenging and offered a tremendous amount of variety. We are financial analysts, problem solvers, marketers, accountants, salesmen, social workers, all offered in one job. Lastly, I take tremendous pride in our company. We have survived three real estate depressions with a high reputation for honesty and integrity. I never fail to appreciate the respect it commands when asked and I reply that I work for Lincoln Property Company.

I began my career with Lincoln in 1992 as an on-site Leasing Professional. When I think back over the past 17 years, I have been extremely fortunate to have built my personal career with a multi-family industry leader. Our company provides unsurpassed training, employee benefits and personal career growth opportunities. Not often can you find true employee satisfaction in such a large organization, but with LPC it's everywhere. Lincoln Property Company offers a familial atmosphere through which I've been afforded the opportunity for personal and professional growth. I came to Lincoln after taking an Accredited Residential Management course. With no experience, I started as an Assistant Manager in the Irving, TX area. Over the years I've worked on-site, in compliance and now as a regional supervisor. LPC has trained and guided my through my career with a hands-on care that only comes from a company who has a personal interest in your growth. Lincoln Property Company, for me, has been the meeting of preparation and opportunity, which always equals success.

I have worked for Lincoln Property Company for over 15 years in many different capacities in the Midwest Region -- Porter/Groundskeeper, Service Technician, Lead Service Technician, Area Supervisor, and most recently Regional Maintenance Director. The opportunities I have been given at LPC truly shows that the company believes in promoting from within and giving their employees the ongoing training and resources needed to be successful in your job. In my opinion, the Lincoln service team is the best of the best. When a property is short staffed, all I have to do is pick up the phone and I am able to get volunteers who are eager to help out, even if it means having to leave their families for a week at a time. The Lincoln service team always goes above and beyond to make sure our residents are getting taken care of in a timely manner. Our service team takes tremendous pride in their work and resident relationships. With people like this at LPC, I knew I had found a new family and friends that will last a lifetime. My job is so enjoyable and it has been a pleasure to see what great accomplishments can be made with such a dedicated group of people.

When I moved into a Lincoln property, I was struck by the friendly nature of the staff. As a resident, I always felt welcome in the leasing office. Two years later, it was that first impression that stayed with me and made me want to seek a career with LPC. From day one of training, I have been 100% committed to LPC. Teamwork, customer service and employee recognition have kept me engaged and invested in my career and the company. Our outstanding training program, with emphasis on cultivating excellent employees, is what stands out the most. With our mentoring program we guide new employees through their beginnings with LPC, providing them with an ear and an advocate.
