Mack Pogue is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln Property Company. He formed the company in 1965 to develop, own and manage top caliber real estate properties. Since that time, Mr. Pogue has developed more than $21 billion in residential, commercial and retail properties throughout the United States and Europe. Mr. Pogue remains an active and integral part of the decision making process for each development and personally reviews projects through each major phase of planning, financing, design and construction.
Tim Byrne
President
Tim Byrne is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Residential Division of Lincoln Property Company, one of the largest real estate development and management firms in the United States. As President and CEO, Mr. Byrne is directly involved in the development and operations of all multifamily ventures, from acquisition through financing, design, construction and lease-up. Since joining Lincoln as President in 1984, Mr. Byrne has successfully developed more than 125,000 units, with a value in excess of $10 billion, and currently oversees over 130,000 units across the country.
Mr. Byrne joined Lincoln Property Company from the Byrne Company, a Dallas-based residential and retail development company he founded in 1976. A native of Dallas, Mr. Byrne received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the Dallas Art Museum, Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council, the Urban Land Institute, Dallas Citizens Council, and a former board member of the Dallas Real Estate Council.
Jeff T. Courtwright
Executive Vice President – Southwest Region
Mr. Courtwright is an Executive Vice President for Lincoln Property Company. His responsibilities include development, acquisition and management oversight of LPC residential operations in the Southwest region. Joining Lincoln Property Company in 1987, he was promoted to Vice President of Office Development in 1991 for office projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 1993, Jeff was named Executive Vice President and expanded his responsibilities to include acquisition of regional management companies and national facilities management contracts. In 1995, Jeff moved to Prentiss Properties as Managing Director for the entire Southwest US commercial operations, returning to Lincoln as the Southwest Executive Vice President for the multifamily division in October 1996. He has developed 6,000 units at a value of $600,000,000 over the last twelve years, and acquired and rehabilitated 4,200 units worth $250 million dollars in acquisition and oversees the operations in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.
Courtwright is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and a graduate of Southern Methodist University. He is a former member of the Central Dallas Association's Executive Committee, the Greater Dallas Chamber, the North Texas Business Council Institute for the Arts, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, and is currently a council member of the Urban Land Institute, a board member of Dallas County and Reclamation District (DCURD), as well as the SMU Athletic Forum Board of Directors.
Charles O. Shallat
Executive Vice President – Southeast Region
Mr. Shallat is Executive Vice President for Lincoln Property Company - Southeast. Mr. Shallat is responsible for overseeing development, construction, financing, acquisitions/dispositions and monitoring on-going property management activities in the Southeast. Since joining Lincoln in 1996, the Southeast region has closed over $500 million in transactions, encompassing both new development and acquisition/rehabilitations. Mr. Shallat’s region also manages apartment units for its own account as well as for third parties.
Mr. Shallat joined Lincoln from JPI Development Partners, Inc., where he was the Regional Acquisition Director. He was responsible for the acquisitions of multifamily properties in the Southeast. Prior to JPI, Mr. Shallat was Senior Acquisitions Associate at Metric Realty, an institutional pension fund advisor and started his career in real estate with JMB out of Chicago. Mr. Shallat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Marketing/Management from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana. Mr. Shallat is currently a member of the National Multi-housing Counsel a mentor with ULI, and a past Board Member of the East Coast REIAC Chapter.
Brian Byrne
Executive Vice President – Midwest Region
Brian Byrne is Executive Vice President for Lincoln Property Company – Midwest. His responsibilities include development, financing, acquisition, and property management oversight of Lincoln’s operations in the Midwest. He oversees offices in Chicago, Kansas City, Indianapolis and Minnesota. He is also responsible for tracking market conditions, which affect properties under Lincoln’s management. Mr. Byrne joined Lincoln in 1985 as Development Manager where he worked with the Vice Presidents to oversee the development process for all new projects. He became Executive Vice President in 1991. Prior to his association with Lincoln Property Company, Mr. Byrne was the Vice President of Development at Byrne Development Company from 1981 to 1985. His responsibilities included overseeing all planning, development, design and construction processes.
Mr. Byrne graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is a registered architect and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Board Certification, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects. He is a registered real estate broker in Illinois and Indiana.
Kevin Keane
Executive Vice President – Midwest Region
Mr. Keane joined Lincoln Property Company in 1987 and is responsible for development, construction, financing, property management, and acquisitions of market rate apartment properties, and military family housing privatization activities for the US Army. With offices in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Seattle, he has been involved in the development and construction of $500 million of new apartment communities and oversees a property management portfolio of $400 million of market rate apartment assets. Department of Army privatization includes the financing, development, construction, and renovation of a $485 million budget for 4,000 military family homes in Seattle WA., and 1,000 military family homes in San Antonio, TX. Prior to joining Lincoln Property Company,
Mr. Keane was a Vice President for a mortgage banking company where he was responsible for the placement of $300 million in debt and equity financing of commercial, retail and residential investment properties throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Keane graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate and Finance. He is a member of The Urban Land Institute, National Apartment Association, Builders Association, and is a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Reg DelPonte
Executive Vice President – Western Region
Reg DelPonte opened Lincoln Property Company’s Western Region office in 1998. His responsibilities include all residential development in California as well as acquisition of existing properties or portfolios. Since joining Lincoln, Mr. DelPonte has built over 3,500 apartment units. He also heads Lincoln’s Public Private Ventures in the West with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, consisting of over 23,000 units comprised of approximately 5,000 new units and 18,000 renovated units, valued at over $3 billion.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. DelPonte was President of Calco Investments and DelPonte Companies. Mr. DelPonte began his real estate career as a broker for Grubb & Ellis in 1979 where he received numerous awards, including Overall Top Producer for two consecutive years. He is a native of Denver and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Jeff Franzen
Executive Vice President – Mid-Atlantic Region
Jeff Franzen joined Lincoln in 1985. Under Mr. Franzen’s tenure, the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions have accounted for over $3 billion in new development.
Mr. Franzen oversees Lincoln's conventional and military operations including Navy and Marine family housing in the Quantico, Norfolk, Annapolis and Virginia Beach areas. Mr. Franzen received a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a member of NMHC (Executive Committee / Board), PHMA and served on the Virginia National Defense Industrial Authority by appointment of the Governor.
Jarl Bliss
President – Lincoln Military Housing
Since joining Lincoln Property Company in 1987, Jarl has been involved in many facets of Lincoln's business. Mr. Bliss has worked in a variety of positions for Lincoln in his twenty plus years - including development, construction, finance and now military housing. He has been personally involved in the development of over $3 billion of commercial real estate.
In his finance role, Mr. Bliss oversaw all interim and permanent financing for the Mid-Atlantic / Northeast region. During the course of Jarl's Lincoln career he has also had the responsibility of heading up Lincoln's property management operations for the East Coast (Boston to Miami). In this role he supervised a team that managed over 25,000 units for over 40 different institutional clients. Mr. Bliss then supervised all development activities for the Mid-Atlantic / Northeast region where his duties included all aspects of development supervision from land acquisition, design, construction.
Jarl now oversees the Lincoln Military Housing operations. LMH comprises almost 30,000 military homes in bases from coast-to-coast for the Army, Navy and the Marines.
Prior to joining Lincoln, Jarl was a senior auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. specializing in Real Estate and Financial Services. Jarl is a graduate of James Madison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jarl serves on the Executive Advisory Council for the College of Business at James Madison University and is also a member of the Scarlett & Gold committee for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
Richard Rose
Vice President – Acquisitions & Development – Mid-Atlantic Region
Richard Rose, Vice President, joined the Lincoln Property Company team in October 1993 to assist in the acquisition and development of multi-family communities in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Richard has been responsible for the development of over 6,000 multi-family units in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts during his time with Lincoln. He also serves as a board member on the Affordable Dwelling Board of Fairfax County, Virginia. Prior to joining Lincoln, Richard was a partner with Calibre Companies, Inc., a privately held multi-family development and management company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. His responsibilities there included development, financing, construction and management of multi-family communities in Virginia and Texas.
Mr. Rose received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
John J. Noone
Vice President – New England
John J. Noone joined Lincoln Property Company in 2000 as Vice President for the New England area. Mr. Noone's key role is the acquisition of existing and the development of new residential communities in the New England states. Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. Noone was Senior Vice President for Sunrise Development Inc., where he successfully planned and developed over $250 million dollars of new residential projects throughout New England and New York.
Mr. Noone has acquired over 22 years of experience in urban planning, property management, finance, construction and development. A graduate of Bentley College with a BS in Finance, Mr. Noone also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, a 40-year-old non-profit housing corporation. Mr. Noone is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
