I have told many people to come check out the Retreat but they have found better pricing. I love my apartment and the Retreat the location is great and it is a great place to live.
I have had only good experiences with the Retreat at Park Meadows. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. I love the events that I've attended and I truly love my new home. It's comfortable and convenient. Very quiet for being as close to major highways as it is.
It is nice and quiet. They have a lot of fun events for the community. The pool, fitness center and basketball court are really nice. The tennis court is great too. I would say that one area for improvement is the maintenance. Things are not kept up as well as the could be and if it snows on the weekend it isn't cleared out until the Mid-afternoon on Mondays. You can see where shortcuts are taken with maintenance. Other than that everything else is great. Staff is nice too.

I have referred two friends to live there as it is. I love the staff and have NEVER had any issues in the two years I've been there now. The ONLY thing I can say that I'd like to see changed is the rent going up every year. I have no doubt I will have to move next year and that saddens me because it's such a great place to live but the rent does go up by quite a bit year by year.

The thing I really love about The Retreat is that it is set upon sprawling grounds, with lots of grassy areas and places to relax. The amenities are a big reason I chose to live here - there is so much to do! The apartments themselves are nice and reasonably priced - the fixtures and finishes aren't necessarily luxurious, but they are functional. The Retreat is walking distance to lots of awesome places, including restaurants, movies, bowling, and bars which is great! Maintenance always responds to requests quickly. My only two consistent complains would be that there is often a wait at the office to talk to someone or get a package, and the snow removal is very lacking and I often find myself walking down snowy and slippery stairs and sidewalks, even days after it has snowed. The staff are friendly and do a good job in trying to engage residents with things like Happy Hours, Yappy Hours, the book club, etc.
It's lovely. Quiet. Very elegant.
The apartments are really nice, the gym is the best I've seen at any apartment complex, and the managing staff are really friendly. It is a really quiet community and perfectly located (i.e., near Park Meadows Mall and the Lincoln Station).
The Retreat at Park Meadows is a great place to live. They are very pet friendly. The people in the office are extremely friendly and helpful. The maintenance people are great. There is usually only a day or two turn around on maintenance requests and any problems are fixed right the first time.
The Retreat has very nice luxury apartment homes.
Normally all good things. But not enough dumpsters/ working compactors is a problem right now. Also my bathroom fixtures and faucets are outdated and further cleaning is impossible.
It is quiet and off any main roads. We love the layout (Buckeye) of our apartment.
