we have loved living here the past 18 months and have had no problems at all. everybody is super friendly and the whole community is wonderful to live in.

Overall, a nice complex. The neighborhood is cute, and being on the Prairie Path is nice. It has the same weaknesses of most complexes--like thin walls/ceilings, uneven heating and cooling, apparently cheap building materials, gross communal garbage area (which I would STRONGLY recommend that Lincoln Property set up for more regular pickups!). The apartments themselves are nice--good light, nice layout, it's great having personal washer/dryer. The maintenance crew is a big plus--they are very friendly and attned to issues quickly (which is good, since--with the cheap building materials--stuff is breaking or falling off of walls pretty regularly). The office staff is generally friendly.

The maintenance staff is top notched. Service requests are handled promptly especially in emergency situation. The staff in the Leasing Office are friendly and try to be accommodating. On the negative side, I don't feel loyalty is always rewarded due to one disappointing experience. After three years in a loft and never having been late once with my rent, I wanted to move into one of the buildings with a balcony once my lease was up. Upon approaching the office, I was quoted my price by one individual and the very next week when it came time to prepare the lease, the price had increased by $55.00. I was told that the price changes everyday which disturbed me thus making me decide to stay where I am although I could afford the difference. It was a matter of prinicple. Over than this one disappointment, I would say things are okay.

It is a great place to live with almost too many tenant amenities to leverage. The complex is located a couple miles from Downtown Elmhurst and within walking distance of Villa Park's main street. The Villa Park Metra station is just down the street for quick trips to Chicago and a couple biking/ walking trails have entrances just south of the Complex to enjoy during the warmer months.

Having lived in several apartments in the Chicago area, I can easily say this is the best! We recently survived the snow storm and I could not believe how hard the staff worked to keep the parking lot cleared. Even though we got 20 inches of snow, I didn't even need a shovel to get my car out because the lot was so clear. UNREAL!!!! I have talked to several people at work today and heard how they were stuck in there apartment until this morning. I was out on the town by 1pm the day after the storm! Anyway, hopefully someone will read this and know that my girlfriend and I are really appreciative of all the hard work that is put in by the staff at the complex.

I find the leasing staff friendly, professional and very accommodating. The maintenance staff as well are very accommodating and timely in addressing any issues. Being a older person, I find that while most of the tenants are younger, they are respectful of their neighbors and abide by the rules and regualtions of the complex. On the negative, being a very early riser, I have had to encounter on two or three ocassion, a unleashed dog who defacates on the lawn near my apartment and the owners refuse to clean up after them. This was told to the office staff who immediately addressed the issue by sending letters to all the tenants. However it is a recurring problem. As this usually happens between 5 and 5:30 a.m., it is impossible for the staff to identify the culprit therefore I don't feel any blame can be placed on them.

In fact, we just put in a maintenance request last night, 11/30/10. The maintenance person was here and had the problem fixed within 5 minutes. He was awesome!! Happy Holidays!
