DALLAS, TX--Lincoln Property Company, the nation's second largest property management company, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this February.
Lincoln began as a small property management firm, providing apartment homes and residential services for people in North Texas. Lincoln's first major investment was The Village Apartments -- a master-planned apartment community located five miles north of downtown Dallas, near North Park Center.
Owned and operated by Lincoln Property Company, The Village began with a single apartment community, The Gate, which had just 462 units and a few hundred residents. Today, The Village is made up of 16 different apartment communities and is home to approximately 10,000 Dallas residents.
Lincoln has been expanding domestically since the 1970s, building a national footprint of commercial assets through development, acquisitions, and property management. In addition, Lincoln has been present internationally, through a joint venture with a strategic partner in Central and Eastern Europe.
Over the past 50 years, Lincoln has continued to experience tremendous growth. With a presence in 33 states and 17 different regional offices, Lincoln has been able to maintain its character as a boutique apartment management firm, while also utilizing its national reach to provide strategic partnerships and supplier relationships for their clients.
Currently managing over 160,000 units in both military and residential divisions, in addition to student housing, Lincoln has truly established itself as an industry leader. Their clients include a comprehensive list of over 120 different groups spanning from institutional firms to private/high net worth clients.

On January 19, all Lincoln employees were challenged to commit at least one act of kindness per week for the next 50 weeks.
